Mystic Sands Beach.

Mystic Sands is a true gem in Vava'u Tonga. Situated right on the beach with its own pier for pickup to go diving, whale watching, sailing or sports-fishing you can spend your whole vacation without having to put shoes on. The Managers are New Zealanders who have been living in Tonga for the past 12 years and are happy to help you make the most of your holiday in Vava'u.

The airport is 20 minutes drive from Vava'u airport and only 10 from Neiafu centre. There is a quality restaurant a mere two minute walk along the beach.
New king-size quality beds.
Not that we are lazy but we take sleeping seriously. When on vacation you don't want a hard and uncomfortable bed. That's why we bought quality king size double and singles for all rooms.                          Enjoy :-)
 
Stylish and private.
Mystic Sands has quality furniture both inside and outside, spacious decks and a beautiful garden. No where else in Vava'u will you find a place on the beach with private kitchen and standards like this. Mystic sands is not yet listed in the guide books but come and see for yourself.
 
Child friendly.
Mystic Sands has a safe beach right outside your doorstep. You can relax on your deck and watch the kids swim or play in the sand. If desired We can arrange for babysitting and local phonecards and/or phones so you can call to check in at any time. (or be called). 

How to get here: 

Mystic Sands is on the northern island of Vava'u, Tonga,  about a 1 -hour flight from the capital of Nuku'alofa which is on the main island of Tongatapu.

The Kingdom of Tonga comprises 4 main island groups: Tonga, Ha'apai, Vava'u & the Niuas. These run South to North, along the "Tonga Trench", close to the 180 meridian or International Dateline. Vava'u is well known as a paradise for marine activities, with its beautiful scattered group of tropical islands, beautiful beaches and friendly people. You can fly to Tonga, which is the main island of the Kingdom and your stepping stone to Vava'u.
